What is a Post?

A 'post' is just another way of saying an entry, like an entry in a diary, or a column in a newspaper.
Posts are actually arranged in reverse chronological order, which means that when you visit a blog on the web, the latest story will appear at the top of the website, and the earlier ones will descend in order beneath it, by how recently they were published to the web.

What is a Blog?

Embracing my audience more by being sensitiv to their needs. First, Making an eye contact gives the the idea of the kind of person you are. Eye contact picture out the character of the person wheather he or she is sincere. I believe that you can know the person by mere looking into ones eyes.
Second, Good sense of humor comes out naturally so i think I won't find hard to ease my audience and have them part of the dicussion. I's a way of giving them information in a open and humorous way
Lastly, Focusing and listening to them vise versa is one way also to embrace my audience. I'm open to whatever questions and comments they have come up. It certainly mean that there is a two way communication and they truly understand what the discussion is all about.

  1. Move More. Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Walk your dog; chase your kids; toss balls with friends, mow the lawn. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it.
  2. Cut Fat. Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise.
  3. Quit Smoking. The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Could it be the Hollywood influence? It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers.
  4. Reduce Stress. Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible.
  5. Protect Yourself from Pollution. If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt from the street deterrent.
  6. Wear Your Seat Belt. Statistics show that seat belts add to longevity and help alleviate potential injuries in car crashed.
  7. Floss Your Teeth Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't?
  8. Avoid Excessive Drinking. While recent studies show a glass of wine or one drink a day (two for men) can help protect against heart disease, more than that can cause other health problems such as liver and kidney disease and cancer.
  9. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook. There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life.
  10. Choose Your Parents. Well The link between genetics and health is a powerful one. But just because one or both of your parents died young in ill health doesn't mean you cannot counteract the genetic pool handed you.

Increasing your intake of junk foods and greasy foods is not a good way to gain weight. Junk foods usually contain unhealthy trans fats or saturated fats. Even though you need to increase your calorie consumption to gain weight, those calories should come from foods that are good for you.

Healthy fats include omega-3 essential fatty acids sources like tuna, salmon, flax, and walnuts. Good sources of protein include lean meats, fish, poultry, nuts, seeds and legumes. Healthy carbohydrate sources include fruits, vegetables and whole grains. It may be easier to eat five or six smaller balanced meals per day rather than eating three large meals, especially if you are not used to eating much at one sitting.

Protein powders and nutritional supplement drinks such as Ensure can be added as in-between meal snacks if you still need more calories. Some protein powders are flavored and only need added water and some others can be blended with your choice of juice or milk to improve the taste. It would also be a healthy idea to add a small amount of flax seed oil and some psyllium powder to add some omega-3 essential fatty acids and extra fiber.

The new strain of H1N1 flu is causing "something different" to happen in the United States this year -- perhaps an extended year-round flu season that disproportionately hits young people.

An unusually cool late spring may be helping keep the infection going in the U.S. Northeast, especially densely populated areas in New York and Massachusetts, the officials at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.

And infections among healthcare workers suggest that people are showing up at work sick, meaning that workplace policies may be contributing to its spread, the CDC officials said.

"Twilight" star Robert Pattinson was hit by a taxi in New York as he tried to run away from a crowd of hysterical teenage fans, but he was not seriously injured, U.S. media reported. Pattinson who stars in the hit teenage vampire movies, was clipped on the hip in front a bookstore in Manhattan where he was shooting scenes on Thursday for his new film, "Remember Me," a drama about two young lovers dealing with family tragedies.

Flanked by five security guards, the British actor tried to run past a group of teenage girls who had gathered outside the bookstore and cross the street to his trailer when the accident happened. He was not seriously injured, but his bodyguards reportedly were furious One of the bodyguards yelled at the girls: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"

Television network ABC their popular actor T.R. Knight will not return to hit hospital drama "Grey's Anatomy" when new episodes hit U.S. airwaves this coming season.
According to knight leaving 'Grey's Anatomy' was not an easy decision and he very grateful to have had the opportunity to play this character and will miss his fellow cast and crew. He is also thankful to all of the his fans who have supported him as well as the show with such passion and enthusiasm.

Knight had previously asked to be released from his contract on the show, and in the season finale in May, his character, Dr. George O'Malley, lost his heartbeat after being hit by a bus.

For me T.R. Knight was talented actor and a person playing the ole of George He is a unique person I know. I was really sad after knwing the he will not be part f Grey's Anatomy Series anymore.

I find Facebook as a great tool for networking and connecting with people. Wherein people can chat and send private messages to all list of friends. Since I started using the site, I have connected with old friends, family members, and new associates. With Facebook, you can make contact with people who might otherwise be very difficult to reach. I've added over 1000 friends, started a handful of groups and have discovered how to post items so others can see what I am up to.

However facebook also got a dark side.I get bombarded with bulk of messages and invitations to diffirent applications, like Werewolves, Zombies and Slayers and a like. I add someone as my friend and pretty soon I am inundated with requests to compare my movie tastes or find out how I am compatible with opposite sex. And there is nothing worse than someone who invites you to every ridiculous application under the sun.If somehow you find some applications annoying you can block all invites from individual applications.
